Application
Silver nanocubes (75 nm, NanoXact, 1 mg/mL in ethanol, PVP 55 kDa (polymer)) can be potentially used for a variety of applications such as surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate, MoS2 photodetector, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR).
Owing to their plasmonic properties nanoparticles of gold and silver find broad range of applications extending from diagnostics to molecular detection, photothermal and microwave-based therapies, and nanotoxicology. Colloidal silver nanoparticles also find applications in antimicrobial coatings, electronics and photovoltaics, and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) whereas the colloidal gold nanoparticles find applications in lateral flow assays (immunochromatographic assays) and as TEM labels and size standards. Our high quality silver nanocubes offer uniform flat surfaces, which makes them useful for sensors and imaging applications. These nanocubes possess narrow size distribution and exhibit surface plasmon resonance (SPR) with multiple plasmonic modes in the visible and near infrared regions. The distinctive morphology and homogeneity of these nanocubes makes them ideal for use in: surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), plasmonic based catalysis, sensors, photovoltaics, and other energy harvesting devices.
