These quality Drosophila tubes are precision moulded, and feature a straight walled design that allows for easy plugging and filling providing the ultimate efficiency for every Drosophila lab. Genesee Scientific fly tubes are conveniently offered as in different packaging formats:
- Tray packed: ready to use, pre-racked in cardboard 10 x 10 vial trays, so they can be filled and plugged directly from the case.
- Bulk packed: organised so that open ends are facing the same direction so they are easily transferred into the vial trays.
- Superbulk packed: organised so that open ends are facing the same direction so they are easily transferred into the vial trays, honeycomb arrangement of vials provides better protection to prevent breakage and gives a smaller footprint.
- Reload: a ground-breaking system that saves valuable time by changing how bulk fly vials are racked and allowing the user to rack an entire tray at once, the vial stacking plates are made of RPET, which have a recycling resin code of "1" and can therefore be readily incorporated into any recycling program. The reload system can be used in conjunction with the specially designed FlyStuff reload trays or whatever 10 x 10 standard tray you are currently using. The patented reload system is cost-effective and convenient.
