IMAC Sepharose 6 Fast Flow is an uncharged IMAC resin for purifying proteins and peptides with affinity for metal ions in batch mode or when scale up is needed.
- Supplied uncharged, for customized metal ion charging and optimized selectivity.
- Suitable for purification of histidine-tagged (his-tagged) proteins when nickel is not the best choice of metal ion.
- Based on well-established Sepharose Fast Flow resins.
- High chemical stability enables proven CIP and sanitisation protocols.
- Hydrophilic base matrix ensures low levels of non-specific binding and low levels of host cell-derived impurities in the elution pool.

Uncharged IMAC resin for his-tagged and untagged proteins
IMAC Sepharose 6 Fast Flow is a member of Cytiva's range of immobilized metal ion affinity chromatography (IMAC) resins, designed for high-quality capture and intermediate native or recombinant protein purification. This resin is commonly used to purify his-tagged proteins, but also untagged recombinant or native proteins.
Resin is composed of cross-linked 6% agarose beads modified with a chelating ligand, which is immobilized to the base matrix. The highly crosslinked resin enables high flow rates and productivity. Resin is supplied uncharged, allowing the user to charge with the metal ion that has optimized selectivity for their target protein.
