Miracloth is an autoclavable, quick filtrationmaterial for gelatinous homogenates that iscomposed of rayon-polyester with an acrylicbinder. It is ideal for filtration of clearedneutralized lysates during medium- andlarge-scale plasmid purification to preventcontamination with loosely adherent pelletmaterial and is useful for protoplast isolation.

Quick filtration material for gelatinous homogenates and for protoplast isolation. Composed of rayon polyester with a pore size of 22-25 µm and an acrylic binder. One roll is 18 inches x 50 feet. Material can be autoclaved without compromising the integrity of the product. Although it is chemically resistant to some organic solvents, Miracloth will dissolve in high pH buffers (pH >9). Useful for protoplast isolation.

Typical pore size: 22-25 µm. Can be autoclaved.
